Mark Day AIA, LEED® AP

Senior Principal

For Mark Day, creating place starts with the big picture and one important question: when the marketing signs are gone and the sales center closes, what kind of home and community has been created for the residents to live in, play and prosper? From the inception of a community vision, through the entitlement process, value engineering and consultant collaboration, to the construction, sales and marketing, Mark has the experience to shepherd small- to large-scale projects through the development process from start to finish. Staying involved for the life of large projects with long term build-outs has been his specialty.

Mark has demonstrated his ability to see the big picture of creating communities in some of the most ambitious and successful master plans in California. He has expanded that experience overseas to Russia and China, and continues to cultivate new opportunities and partnerships both in the U.S. and abroad.

As a managing principal, Mark oversees operations and policy issues of the firm. His understanding of business context and industry change involves him in strategic decision-making that create sustainable business growth and impact for DAHLIN.
