Atria Life Guidance Village

The primary goal for this 35-year-old facility was to convert 34 of the original 139 assisted living rooms into 28 memory care rooms and supporting spaces. In addition to the 13,000-square-foot wing remodel, corridor ceilings were raised and memory boxes were added into each residential unit. New areas for communal dining, cognitive learning, social gathering, a library and theater, were created within the existing building shell. Two separate landscaped courtyards also provide outdoor spaces for the memory care resident.
