Da Donggou Retail Village is designed to emulate the "American" shopping experience for the burgeoning population of Dalian "Best City" in Northern China. An open-air pedestrian-scaled corridor traverses the sloping site to connect a series of plazas, while creating design opportunities for grand staircases, cascading terraces and punctuating iconic architectural towers that anchor visual axes. The village will attract and provide residents, workers of neighboring technology office parks and visitors, a place for gathering and entertainment.
