Formerly a light industrial area, McCandless Drive is a nine-building, transit-oriented redevelopment project, conveniently located near future BART, SCVTA light rail and a bus terminal. Inspired by the site's former Ford auto plant, art deco themed architecture pays homage to the by-gone industrial era buildings, each named after a model Ford automobile. Residential is designed over podium, with multiple levels of parking and ground floor retail.
