DAHLIN designed the architecture for the townhomes at Peninsula Heights, a residential community located in the hills of San Mateo. The townhomes are positioned to take advantage of views toward the San Francisco Bay while contributing to a cohesive neighborhood environment.
The design responds to the site’s topography, incorporating a 35-foot grade change through terraced planning and a verdure wall system along Campus Drive. The architecture supports a connected residential setting that integrates with the surrounding neighborhood context.
The Peninsula Heights master plan involves redevelopment of an existing business park in San Mateo into a modern residential community with a mix of single-family homes, townhomes, and flats.
