Alvarado Park is a five-story affordable housing community for seniors in San José’s Sunol-Midtown neighborhood, offering a calm, supportive environment shaped by connection and access to shared space.
The design centers on comfort and ease, with one- and two-bedroom homes complemented by community rooms, a library, and outdoor areas including garden plots that invite daily use and interaction. Amenities are organized to support both independence and a sense of belonging.
Like its sister development, Bellarmino Place, Alvarado Park opens onto a landscaped pedestrian paseo that links the two communities. This shared corridor—punctuated by seating and open space—creates opportunities for connection while anchoring both projects within a larger neighborhood framework.
